Venue: Royal Calcutta Golf Club

The second edition of the SPT Sports Junior Golf Series took place in the East, was played at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club in Kolkata. The tournament was spread over two days with the participants playing two rounds of 18 holes. There were 42 participants in three categories of under 11, 12-14 & 15-17 years. This event is part of the series which will be played in all 4 zones of the country every quarter.

There was a “chip and putt” competition held on the second day for children who were on their way to serious golfing but were not quite there yet. This event had 30 odd children participating and the top three were given prizes at the prize distribution ceremony held later that evening for the participants of the tournament.

As in the Pune edition the top seven finishers in each group were given points and the individual with the maximum number of points in each group at the end of the year will be awarded a prize bonanza. The next leg will be in the South Zone in Bangalore.

Runner up – Aman Singhal 148 strokes (73+75)
Winner – Viraj Madappa 177 strokes (88+89)

12-14
Runner up – Tutul Ali 181 strokes (90+91)
Winner – Rohan Shroff 169 strokes (82+87)

15-17
Runner up – Kanishk Tulsyan 154 strokes (75+79)
Winner – Divyanshu Bajaj 148 strokes (73+75)
