At SPT Sports, we pride ourselves to be initiators and leaders in creating and managing events in the sports industry. This is amply proved by the many initiatives which we have undertaken since our inception in 1998.
We are the only sports management organization which has identified the sports industry as our sole objective and basis of our future growth. Most others have taken on additional activities during their period of operations. Going forward, our concentration on sports alone will allow us a single minded focus to tap its huge unfolding potential.
In 1992, passion for sports enticed us to organize summer camps for children and gradually this
passion saw the light of professionalism in 1998.
From humble beginnings, we have grown into a
serious and reputable brand in our area of operation.

Today we boast of many creations which are considered pioneering feats in the industry. Some of these are:
- Kingfisher Corporate 5s (a national level corporate football event created for UB Ltd). The first edition was played in Bangalore in 1998 the event was played with 10 corporate teams. Today, our event attracts over 40 teams in Bangalore and is organized annually in 7 cities across the country.
- Veer-on-Veer Kabaddi event for Hindustan Unilever Ltd (this found us an entry in the 2003 Limca Book of records for the magnitude of the event being played in 27 towns of Maharashtra in 29 days. Everyday a match being played in a different town).
- Our Sunfeast Inter-school football has provided an additional avenue to schools to field their teams in 3 age groups of under 12, 14 and 16 years in Bangalore, Mysore and Hyderabad. In 2008, we are taking this event to 7 cities.
- Weekender Swim Meet over the years had become the most attractive swimming competition in Bangalore with over 800 children of different age groups (also below 5 yrs.) participating.
- GATI Corporate Golf is being played in 5 cities targeting the senior executives since 2004.
Over the years, we have been associated with corporates and brands like ITC Ltd., Adidas, Kingfisher, Infosys, Dr.Reddy’s Lab., Reebok, Seagrams, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, General Mills, ING Vysya Life and many more.
In 2003, we have established our first Sports Academy in Bangalore. The Sunfeast Football Academy
and the TaylorMade Golf academy are housed in our Sports Academy complex.
This provides a
unique opportunity to young and not so old individuals and families to sharpen their golf and football
skills. It has also become a venue for many corporate sports events.
While facilities in our Bangalore Sports Academy have been developed primarily for golf and football, we have provision for additional facilities like beach volleyball, archery, croquet and athletics.
With the success of our first Sports Academy in Bangalore, we have been able to open our second Academy at Whitefield, Bangalore. We now plan to replicate this model in many other cities and towns of India. In these new academies, we will also include a range of sports and games like tennis, badminton, squash, table tennis and many other indoor games. In addition they will also include a range of conveniences like a clubhouse, change rooms, conference rooms, cafe, etc.
